Your baby's delicate skin can feel the abrasive maybe ten times more than you. Keep in mind; more thread counts mean less or no irritation to your baby paper-thin skin. Any thread count from 200 up with be comfortable. Also you may wish to look for 'combed cotton' as it is softer.
Although the sheet is aesthetically pleasing, it does not mean the material used is of good quality. You should give more thoughts about the material used as well. Chemicals have been used widely in every product you can think of. And your baby may experience rashes or allergies if came in contact with linens that used it. 100% cotton is the safest choice because this natural fibre has good ventilation and free of any chemicals. Cotton is best used during those scorching summer months to keep your child cool. It is also the best option all year round because of it natural properties.
