All of the hydration packs are designed to be hung upside down, to drain them and dry them when they are not in use.
A hydration system which is hands free, as these all are, is additionally useful if your hands are occupied, while for example climbing or biking. Even if you do not practice an outdoor sport, you can use a hydration pack while you're running on a treadmill, or if you're working with your hands in a position or place that makes it difficult or dangerous to interrupt what you're doing to drink some water, such as on a scaffold or while working with tools and hand held equipment.
Maintaining your body's hydration is the single most important task of your day, particularly in situations of physical exertion. The simplest way to drink cool, clean, safe water is to carry it in a camelbak.
