Believe it or not, rain slickers that are made from plastic are not the only options when it comes to waterproof jackets available on the market. Most people think of a rubber or vinyl fabric when they think of a fully waterproof material that provides an outer shell to protect against unwanted moisture. The advanced technology that has evolved into woven nylon fabric allows air to penetrate the jacket but expel water in several forms including mist, rain, or snow. Waterproof coats will offer the kind of protection you're looking for, warmth, as well as style, no matter where you live.
In some parts of the country, even an umbrella cannot be kept dry, because rain is so strong and seems to fall at an angle. Waterproof coats for men are available in different lengths and sizes; and protect the garments underneath the coat. The cuffs of the sleeves are designed with a hook and loop tightening system so that when you are holding an umbrella, your sleeves do not get wet. When it comes time to wear your waterproof coat out in the elements, it is very important for you to choose a model that is versatile and comes with various external pockets. In order to properly keep moisture out and to stay warm, you must wear the coat as it was designed to be worn. If you wish to prevent any possible water from getting to your clothes, you could purchase matching waterproof pants so that not only does your shirt stay dry, but your pants as well!
